About our Foundation

About the Community Medical Center Foundation

The Community Medical Center Foundation exists solely to support the mission of Community Medical Center and the programs and services it provides.

The Foundation accepts contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other donors for facility improvement, equipment purchases or programs like The Lighthouse, The Center for Kids & Family, and the Van Dyke Hospice program.

The Foundation is fortunate to have the support of literally thousands of friends, especially the members of the Community Medical Center Auxiliary Association. These dedicated men and women work tirelessly to raise funds for our hospital as well as serve as our “ambassadors” out in the community.

Our Mission

Mission of Community Medical Center Foundation

The Community Medical Center Foundation exists solely to support the mission of Community Medical Center and the programs and services it provides. The Foundation accepts contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other donors for building renovation and expansion, equipment purchases or programs like The Senior Health Network, The Center for Kids & Family, and the Van Dyke Hospice Program. The Foundation is fortunate to have the support of literally thousands of friends, especially the members of the Community Medical Center Auxiliary Association. These dedicated men and women work tirelessly to raise funds for the hospital as well as serve as our “ambassadors” in the community.

There are a number of ways for interested donors to make contributions to the Foundation in addition to outright cash gifts. Gifts of securities, real estate, gifts-in-kind and planned gifts are equally welcome. These contributions may also result in tax savings that go beyond the traditional straight tax deduction for outright giving. Gifts may also be made in memory of a loved one or friend or to commemorate a special occasion.

Please contact Richard J. Pallamary, Vice President for Development, for more information.

It is the policy of the Foundations of RWJBarnabas Health that 5% of restricted gifts and up to 10% of special events revenue is allocated for unrestricted purposes which may include administrative and operational expenses.
