William Schulman

William Schulman, MD, is the Medical Director of the Breast Center and the Breast Program Leadership Subcommittee of the Cancer Committee at Community Medical Center. He along with other members of the committee monitor, evaluate, and continually improve the clinical, educational, and operational performance of the Breast Center.

The committee leads the interdisciplinary breast cancer conference and reviews prospective patients’ cases which include presentations and discussions of American Joint Committee on Cancer staging, prognostic indicators, treatment planning using evidence-based treatment guidelines and options for clinical trials participation.

Physician members of the Breast Leadership Committee include Dr. Hua Zhong, pathologist; Dr. Jorge Pardes, breast imaging diagnostic radiologist; Dr. Sumy Chang, breast surgical oncologist; Dr. David D’Ambrosio, radiation oncologist, and Dr. William Schulman, surgeon and Medical Director, the Breast Center. Not picture Dr. Chirag Shah, medical oncologist; and Dr. Russell Ashinoff and Dr. Stephen Small, plastic surgeons.

The Breast Program Leadership Committee exists to continually monitor, improve and evaluate the services and outcomes of the Community Medical Center Breast Program.

The committee monitors and evaluates clinical, operational, educational and community outreach performance of The Breast Program and develops, implements and evaluates goals and plans for the center in addition to other responsibilities.
