Supportive Services

The goal of the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center’s team of licensed clinical social workers is to provide supportive services that assist cancer patients and their families along the continuum of care.

They work in collaboration with the entire team to offer services designed to teach patients and their families how to cope with the emotional aspects of a cancer diagnosis, including counseling, education, referral services, complementary services and support groups.

Social services such as transportation, wigs and prosthetic devices, financial and disability assistance, and home care are also available.
