125th Anniversary

From May 2012 through May 2013, Monmouth Medical Center, will celebrate 125 years of providing outstanding health care to the region and serving as a trusted resource to our community. Reaching this milestone amidst the unprecedented growth and expansion of the hospital is an affirmation of Monmouth’s long standing commitment to excellence in healing, teaching and caring.

Through the dedication of our trustees, physicians, employees, volunteers and auxilians, Monmouth Medical Center will continue to set the standard for health care in the 21st Century.

As part of New Jersey’s largest health care system, Monmouth Medical Center will continue to focus on improving the health and well-being of those we serve and preparing future generations of heath care practitioners.

Monmouth Medical Center Administrators and community historians and leaders gathered recently to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the hospital. During the services, a plaque, created by the Long Branch Historical Association, was unveiled. The plaque will become the second monument of the “History Trail” being developed throughout Long Branch. Standing with the plaque are (left to right): Michael Arvanitis, MD, President of the Monmouth Medical Center medical staff; Frederic Pachman, Director of the Medical Library at Monmouth Medical Center; Caroline Casagrande, Assemblywoman from District 11; Joe Reale, President of the Long Branch Historical Association; Frank J.
