Cranmer Legacy Society
The Cranmer Legacy Society was established in honor of Ella B. Cranmer whose estate gave Monmouth Medical Center $4.5 million, one of the largest gifts in the hospital's history. Today, the Society honors those who have generously provided for Monmouth Medical Center in their estate plans. By becoming a member of the Society, members receive such benefits as an annual luncheon with the hospital's President and Chief Executive Officer, the opportunity to meet other Society members, have their name listed on the Donor Recognition Wall in the hospital's main lobby, and the knowledge that they are helping insure the finest quality of healthcare for the community into the future.
In addition to the benefits listed above members may also reduce their taxes, and potentially increase their income depending upon how the plans are established. The following is a list of ways to include Monmouth in your estate plans:
||A gift given by a will.
||A gift of stock, bonds or other similar assets.
||A gift of ownership in a policy.
||A gift of valued real estate.
|Charitable Gift Annuities:
||A contract with Monmouth Medical Center Foundation by which the Foundation makes quarterly payments to you in exchange for a transferred asset. Rates of return are determined by the donor's age.
|Deferred Charitable Gift Annuities:
||A charitable gift annuity contract in which the start of payments is deferred so payment amounts will be higher each quarter.
|Charitable Remainder Trust:
||A trust that makes payments to you (and/or loved one) during your lifetime. Later the trust dissolves and leaves the remainder with Monmouth Medical Center Foundation.
|Charitable Lead Trust:
||A trust that makes payments to Monmouth Medical Center Foundation during your and/or your loved one's lifetime. Later the trust dissolves and returns the assets to you or someone else designated by you.
|Pooled Income Fund Gifts:
||A gift that is pooled with the gifts of others in a common fund, the income of which is fairly distributed to the depositors. Later the asset is transferred to Monmouth Medical Center Foundation.
