Pain Management Program
Offering Advanced Help for Patients with Chronic Pain
The Pain Management Program at Monmouth Medical Center is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of patients with severe acute and chronic pain and provides treatment for patients who are experiencing both benign and malignant persistent pain, ranging in age from older adolescent to geriatric.
The program’s goal is to help patients improve their function and quality of life by focusing on relieving pain that does not respond to traditional methods of treatment and helping our patients prevent physical and psychological complications that may stem from their conditions.
Through the program, each patient is accessed to determine the source of their discomfort. Based on these findings, the Pain Management Program’s dedicated physicians create a treatment and work closely with referring and other treating physicians for maximum patient benefit. To be certain they are taking the correct approach to treatment, they continuously re-evaluate patients based on the effectiveness of their treatment plans.
The Pain Management Program’s board-certified anesthesiologists — each of whom have completed fellowship training in pain management — make it a priority to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of pain management. These experts participate in ongoing education to keep abreast of the most advanced treatment options available. Procedures are performed at Monmouth Medical Center’s Cranmer Ambulatory Surgery Center, conveniently located just off the hospital’s main lobby.
