state and regional recognition for many of its programs.
Providing Valuable Support throughout MMC
Every day, the corps of adult and teen volunteers at Monmouth Medical Center
make important contributions to patient care and the operation of the
hospital. It would take nearly 20 full-time employees to provide the approximately
40,000 hours of service donated each year by Monmouth Medical Center volunteers.
Ambassadors for the medical center, volunteers are an important part of
patient satisfaction efforts as they provide comfort and companionship
to patients in the Emergency Department and on the inpatient units. And
in offices throughout the medical center, volunteers provide valuable
support to hospital employees.
