Speech Language Pathology

A subdivision of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the division provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and counseling for individuals with communication difficulties, including hearing aid assessment. Some of the treatments used include aural rehabilitation, language therapy, infant stimulation, tongue thrust therapy, articulation therapy, and dysphagia (swallowing) therapy. Specialized testing services for children with pervasive developmental disorders and autism are also available.
