Managed by Human Resources, the programs offered through the Institute
for Training and Development were designed in accordance with our core
values and the competencies designated as most necessary to succeed in
our system, thus benefiting employees who wish to gain perspective and
leadership skills for every level of professional development.
As our employee, specific programming can be accessed online through the
Employee Intranet (NetLearning) or by registration at specific locations
throughout Barnabas Health. Online Development Services can be accessed
anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day by contacting the human resources department
Among the many available programs are:
Management Development programs are based on our core values and leadership
competencies. The EPIC and Core Management programs offer a foundation
in our guiding leadership principles.
The Leadership Institute requires nomination from the executive directors
of the facilities in the system. These programs are valuable steps in
preparing our leaders.
Customer Service programs focus on customer satisfaction issues specific
to healthcare, and how to deal with them. It provides a variety of tools
and techniques for providing a positive experience for all of our customers;
patients, visitors, employees and physicians.
On-site Consultation & Training Services are available by request.
This includes work group/department-based training and facilitation as
well as customized, site-specific training and development services.
