Marc Cohen, MD, FACC is Professor of Medicine at the Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School in Newark,
NJ, and was Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in
New York City and. For the past 14 years he has been the Chief of the
Division of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Training
Program and an attending physician in the Department of Medicine at Newark
Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ.
Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from the New York University School
of Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and
internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he also completed a cardiology
fellowship. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular
diseases, and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Cohen currently holds editorial board positions for the
American Heart Journal, and the
American Journal of Cardiology, and has authored numerous articles and abstract papers. He has over 300
publications with over 160 peer reviewed published scientific papers.
Dr. Cohen has been named as “Top Doctors in New Jersey” in
2009 and 2010. He was also named by
New Jersey Monthly as “Top Doc, Interventional Cardiology” 2004-2010.
