Seth M. Dannis, M.D. is a Neurosurgeon with specific clinical interest and expertise in the management and treatment of primary and metastatic brain and spinal tumors, meningiomas, hydrocephalus, cerebrovascular and skull base surgery, computer-assisted image guided stereotactic surgery and radiosurgery, and neurotrauma, as well as all aspects of spinal surgery. Dr. Dannis received his Bachelor of Science Degree in the Biological Sciences with the Highest Honor of Distinction from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he was distinguished as a Cornell University National Scholar.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School. At New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell University Medical Center, he completed his Surgical Internship. Dr. Dannis then completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and Medical Center, where he was appointed Chief Resident in Neurological Surgery during his final year of training. Dr. Dannis has extensively conducted both basic science and neuroscience laboratory research as well as clinical research involving a significant depth and breadth of multidisciplinary scientific study, having been a Research Fellow at The Rockefeller University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Dannis is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the New Jersey State Neurosurgical Society, the Essex County Medical Society, and the Medical Societies of New York and New Jersey.
