Dr. Granet earned his medical degree at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. and trained in internal medicine at Cornell Cooperating Hospitals and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York.
Dr. Granet is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. At Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N.J. Dr. Granet is an assistant program director within the Department of Medicine. Additionally, he is the chairman of the ethics committee and serves as the section chief of medicine.
Dr. Granet is actively involved with the teaching program at Monmouth Medical Center and is proud to have been honored with the Dean's Special Award of Excellence in Clinical Teaching from Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Monmouth's teaching affiliate, as well as receiving several other teaching awards from the residents of Monmouth Medical Center.
Dr. Granet has been repeatedly named a "Top Doctor" by his peers in numerous publications, including New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Castle Connelly, "Best Doctors", Consumer Reports andNew Jersey Savvy Magazine.
Dr. Granet resides at the Jersey Shore with his wife, two daughters and dogs.
Dr. Granet is a recipient of the 2014 NJ monthly Top Docs award.
