    Dr. Pinkowsky is an orthopaedic surgeon proudly serving the needs of his home state. Born and raised in Edison, New Jersey, Dr. Pinkowsky has had extensive training and life experience in many aspects of orthopaedic surgery, especially sports medicine.

    In addition to 10 peer-reviewed journal publications and three published textbook chapters, Dr. Pinkowsky has given numerous presentations on various orthopaedic topics on a local and national level. He has also conducted significant research in sports medicine topics regarding the knee, shoulder and elbow.

    Dr. Pinkowsky graduated in three years with honors with his bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He received his medical degree from Penn State Hershey College of Medicine in Hershey, PA and completed an internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

    Following his residency, Dr. Pinkowsky completed a sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA, the leader in providing comprehensive care for orthopaedic and sports-related injury and illness. During that time, Dr. Pinkowsky also had the opportunity to assist in covering the medical needs of famous Los Angeles teams, including the Dodgers, Lakers and Kings.
