Harish Seethamraju, MD, a UNOS Certified Transplant Pulmonologist and board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care, is Medical Director of the Advanced Lung Disease and Transplant Program at at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark. Prior to joining Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, he was Associate Professor of Medicine at University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in Lexington, Kentucky. From July 2011 to June 2013, Dr. Seethamraju was Medical Director of the Lung Transplant Program and Associate Professor of Medicine at The Methodist Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also served in the Department of Medicine since 2004.
Dr. Seethamraju is a member of the American Society of Transplantation, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Thoracic Society, the International Society of Heart & Lung Transplant, the American College of Physician and the American Association for Bronchology & Interventional Pulmonology.
He conducted his residency in Internal Medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he also earned a Pulmonary Fellowship. Dr. Seethamraju also earned a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
