Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) presents "Healthy Eating for Tweens: Eating with Awareness" on Tuesday, September 30, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center.
The right nutritional choices can positively impact both physical and emotional development as well as mood and achievement. Healthy eating habits are important for everyone, especially during an adolescent's developing years. In this program, attendees will discover how much sugar is in the foods they eat and how to stop any unwanted eating habits and teach them to learn to like themselves more and make positive changes in their lives.
Join Stacey Pinke, Integrative Nutritionist and Yoga Instructor, for this three-part workshop and learn which sugar is the healthiest, enabling attendees to look and feel great. Through a fun art activity, attendees will explore the habits they blindly perform on autopilot. Attendees are invited to come dressed for yoga and bring a yoga mat for an hour long yoga class, concluding with a 10-minute relaxation.
This program will take place at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center located at 200 South Orange Avenue in Livingston. For more information or to register for this program, please call Team Link at 1.888.724.7123 or email TeamLink@barnabashealth.org.
