As pregnancy places many demands on a woman's body and may affect both short and long-term nutritional status, it's essential for expectant mothers to take care of themselves before conceiving. Mothers-to-be are invited to attend "Prepare Your Body for Pregnancy" on Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center.
This program, presented by Jennifer Meyers, MS, RD, CDE, will discuss optimizing nutrition prior to pregnancy to ensure that the expectant mother can meet her baby's growing needs without sacrificing her own state of wellness.
"Prepare Your Body for Pregnancy" will take place at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center located at 200 South Orange Avenue in Livingston. Registration is required by calling 1-888-724-7123 or emailing TeamLink@barnabashealth.org.
