Heart Center Physician Leader to Present at Global Summit


Najam Wasty, MD, FACC, FSCAI, Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training Program, Barnabas Health Heart Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, will be presenting a poster abstract at the 11th annual Complex Cardiovascular Catheter Therapeutics: Advanced Endovascular and Coronary Intervention Global Summit (C3), taking place in June at in Orlando, Florida.

Dr. Wasty's presentation will highlight a procedural technique that minimizes the chance of a patient experiencing a life threatening complication call retro peritoneal bleeding, during catheter-based procedures such as coronary stenting.
