Calling All Comic Book Fans: It’s Superheroes for Hospice

On Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center (BHHPCC) will present Superheroes for Hospice, a free comic book sale and show. The event will be held at the Barnabas Health Corporate Office, located at 95 Old Short Hills Road in West Orange (directly across the street from Saint Barnabas Medical Center, next door to the Atkins Kent building). Proceeds benefit patients and families served by BHHPCC.

Tens of thousands of comic books will be on sale, from Archie to Vertigo, including books for children and adults. Also on sale will be graphic novels, action figures and vintage comics. Scheduled to appear are a variety of comic book creators, sketch artists and caricaturists including Paul Castiglia, Writer/Editor, Archie Comics; Joe Caramagna, Writer, Marvel Comics; Shane Moore, Artist/Writer; and Paris Cullins, Comic Book Producer and the original Blue Devil artist for DC Comics.
