West Orange, NJ, February 20, 2015—Barnabas Health has been named to NJBIZ's list of "2015 Best Places to Work in New Jersey," an award that identifies, recognizes and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. Barnabas Health is among 100 employers across the state named to the list which is split into two groups: small/medium sized companies and large companies. Barnabas Health is one of 35 large-size companies named to the list.
NJBIZ has been compiling a list of Best Places to Work in New Jersey annually since 2005. To develop the list, NJBIZ conducted research, considered nominations and evaluated organizations based on a two-part process. The first part evaluated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
"Barnabas Health is honored to be listed among the 'Best Places to Work in New Jersey,'" said Barry H. Ostrowsky, President and Chief Executive Officer, Barnabas Health. "Our employees are our greatest asset. Providing a work environment that enables and empowers them to excel ensures that Barnabas Health will continue to be the preeminent health care and wellness provider in the state of New Jersey and beyond."
The overall registration and survey process was managed by Best Companies Group (BCG). BCG also analyzed the data provided and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
NJBIZ, program sponsors and partners will honor Barnabas Health and the other Best Places to Work and announce their ranking during an awards reception and ceremony on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Hilton East Brunswick.
