Barry H. Ostrowsky, President and Chief Executive Officer, Barnabas Health, Receives the Leon J. Warshaw Leadership in Healthcare Award

West Orange, NJ, January 5, 2015 – Barry H. Ostrowsky, President and Chief Executive Officer, Barnabas Health, was awarded the Leon J. Warshaw Leadership in Healthcare Award from the Northeast Business Group on Health (NEBGH) on December 3 at the group's Twentieth Annual Tribute to Leadership event in New York City.

Each year, NEBGH recognizes two organizations, a health care delivery system and a business, for extraordinary service, leadership and commitment to improving health care quality and making health care available and affordable.

"We are honored to be given this award," said Mr. Ostrowsky. "It is our vision to integrate with our communities to better their populations' quality of life and be an innovative resource for them, as well as provide the highest quality clinical care and a superior experience."

Steelcase, Inc., a leading provider of office furniture and workplace architectural and technology solution, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was the winner of the Leadership in Business Award. "This award acknowledges what many leading organizations know, companies cannot reach higher levels of performance without thoughtfully considering the physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing of their employees," said Jim Keane, Chief Executive Officer, Steelcase, Inc. "We're grateful to be recognized with this distinguished honor and very pleased to have what we do be so highly recognized."

Past honorees have represented leading medical systems, and national and international pharmaceutical companies and organizations, and include Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., New York Presbyterian Hospital, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Company, Inc., and Pfizer.
