Health, has accepted the honor of being named 2016 Executive of the Year
at the NJBIZ Business of the Year Awards Ceremony on Monday, December 5th at The Palace at Somerset Park.
The ceremony celebrates New Jersey’s most dynamic businesses and
business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business
growth and their communities. As President and Chief Executive Officer
of New Jersey’s largest not-for-profit integrated health care delivery
system, Mr. Ostrowsky leads the system’s initiatives ensuring the
highest quality health care for patients, and is spearheading a system-wide
endeavor to promote healthier living for employees and the diverse communities
Mr. Ostrowsky joined Saint Barnabas Medical Center in 1991 as Executive
Vice President and General Counsel. He served in the same role at Barnabas
Health, when the System was created in 1996. He assumed the title of President
and Chief Operating Officer in 2010, and became President and Chief Executive
Officer in January, 2012. Mr. Ostrowsky was recently named President and
Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed RWJBarnabas Health.
Prior, Mr. Ostrowsky was a Senior Partner in the law firm of Brach Eichler.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ostrowsky has been actively involved in many
community organizations. He received a BA from Rutgers University and
a JD from the University of Tennessee School of Law.
