Belleville, NJ – What a wonderful way to spend a spring day golfing at the elegant Montclair Golf Club and wrapping up the day with cocktails, an awards dinner and silent auction – all while raising money for a good cause.
It’s not too late to register for this year’s Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation’s annual Golf Outing, taking place on May 20, 2013 at the Montclair Golf Club.
This year’s Golf Outing starts with a brunch at 10:30 a.m. on May 20 at the 119-year-old Montclair Golf Club followed by a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start to play 18 holes. The golf club features four sets of 9-hole courses.
Players can register as individuals or as foursomes to play the premiere course, set amongst the lush rolling hills of North Jersey. Montclair Golf Club, which was founded in 1893, has been designated a Platinum Club of America, making it one of the top 100 country clubs nationwide.
The courses start and end at the colonial-style clubhouse and golfers can warm up on the specially-designed practice range that features target greens.
Last year, nearly 200 golfers and guests participated in the outing and raised over $200,000 to help enhance the cancer services and programs at Clara Maass Medical Center.
“Proceeds from this year’s Golf Invitational will help ensure that CMMC continues to be able to deliver high quality, compassionate health care that keeps pace with the latest advances in technology and medicine,” said Jane Kessler, Vice President of Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation.
