Pulmonary Rehabilitation helps to improve the well-being of people who
have chronic breathing problems. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
at Clara Maass Medical Center, which takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays
in November, aims to help people with moderate to severe breathing problems
overcome the physical limitations resulting from their disease.
This program takes place every Tuesday and Thursdays in November, from
7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the exception of November 26 in observance of Thanksgiving.
Candidates for the program include patients recovering from an acute pulmonary
episode, people with lung disorders and anyone whose activities are limited
by chronic lung disease and shortness of breath.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation takes place at the Cardiac Rehab Department on
the first floor of Clara Maass Medical Center, located at 1 Clara Maass
Drive in Belleville. Registration is required by calling 973-450-2263.
