Clara Maass Medical Center Presents Show You Care; Be Aware


According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death and the second most common cancer among both men and women in the United States. In honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Clara Maass Medical Center, in conjunction with the Bloomfield Health Department, will present “Show You Care; Be Aware” on Friday, November 20 at noon at the Bloomfield Civic Center.

Show You Care; Be Aware will discuss the most up-to-date information on symptoms, screenings, treatments, early detection of cancer and the changing guidelines. The event will also feature a light lunch, complimentary blood pressure screenings as well as free giveaways and raffle prizes.
