While there are many things in life that are out of our hands, it is never
too early to begin planning for your future care. Members of the Belleville
Women’s Club are invited to learn how to take charge of their health
by attending a program presented by Clara Maass Medical Center: “Take
Charge: Protecting Health Care Options” on Monday, December 14 at
6 p.m. at the Belleville Women’s Club in Belleville.
A Clara Maass Medical Center expert will discuss the importance of advance
care planning. Participants are encouraged to bring their medication lists,
physician information and hospital choices to review with the expert.
The event will also cover the “Five Wishes” document which
gives individuals a way to control something very important: how you are
treated if you get seriously ill. A health expert from Clara Maass Medical
Center will also offer free blood pressure screenings.
This program is for members of the Belleville Women’s Club only.
A light dinner will be served. “Take Charge: Protecting Health Care
Options” will take place at 51 Rossmore Place in Belleville.
