Clara Maass Medical Center Presents Go Red For Women: Facts about Heart Disease and Stroke

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States, responsible for one in every four female deaths. Almost two-thirds of sudden heart-related fatalities in women have no previous symptoms. To help women reduce their risk of heart disease, Clara Maass Medical Center will host Go Red for Women: Facts about Heart Disease and Stroke on Friday, February 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hospital lobby, located at One Clara Maass Drive in Belleville.
