Pulmonary rehabilitation helps to improve the well-being of people who
have chronic breathing problems. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
at Clara Maass Medical Center, which takes place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
every Tuesday and Thursday in March, aims to help those people overcome
the physical limitations resulting from their disease.
Candidates for the rehabilitation program include patients recovering from
an acute pulmonary episode, people with lung disorders and anyone whose
activities are limited by chronic lung disease and shortness of breath.
This program takes place at the Cardiac Rehab Department on the first floor
of Clara Maass Medical Center, located at One Clara Maass Drive in Belleville.
