The NJ Sharing Network recognized Clara Maass Medical Center (CMMC) and
other donors and partners for their commitment to educating the public
on the facts about organ and tissue donation. At a program event held
on September 14th at the Sharing Network’s headquarters in New Providence, NJ, CMMC
was congratulated for earning the Gold Award Status in the Health Resources
and Services Administration (HRSA)Workplace Partnership for Life Campaign
for 2016-2017. The campaign is a special initiative of HRSA that is designed
to mobilize hospitals to increase the number of people in the country
who are registered. The Gold Award was presented to CMMC by Joe Roth,
President and CEO of the NJ Sharing Network and Carolyn Welsh, Vice President
and Chief Clinical Officer, NJ Sharing Network, and was accepted by Susan
Gallina, MSN, MAS, RN, CNOR, HN-BC, CCAP, Director of Perioperative Services
was present to accept the award on behalf of CMMC.
