The Women’s Imaging Center at Community Medical Center Offers Free Program as Part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

TOMS RIVER, NJ, October 15, 2013 – The Women’s Imaging Center at Community Medical Center will host a free Women’s Tea with Dr. Amy Vogia, a board certified radiologist who specializes in mammography. The tea will take place on Thursday, October 24 from 3 to 5 pm at the Women’s Imaging Center located at 368 Lakehurst Road, Toms River.

Dr. Vogia will host an informal discussion on the latest advances in breast imaging and breast care and wellness. In addition, our technologists and staff will be available to answer questions and offer tours of the Center.

The Women’s Imaging Center at Community Medical Center provides a comprehensive approach to women’s health. Our facility brings together the renowned experience and expertise of the Community Medical Center Radiology Department and state-of-the-art digital mammography and women’s imaging technology. Diagnostic studies at the Women’s Imaging Center are performed by highly trained, licensed and certified female radiologic technologists, and are reviewed by board-certified radiologists who specialize in mammography. Services are conveniently provided at 368 Lakehurst Road, Toms River, 65 Lacey Road, Whiting and at the hospital’s main campus at 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River.
