Community Medical Center will sponsor a special program called "A Time for Us" designed for mothers and their daughters to come together to listen to and discuss important health topics in a relaxed and non-threatening environment.
This FREE dinner program will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel, Route 37, Toms River, NJ. Dinner will be provided and seating is limited.
Speakers at the event include physicians and health professionals who will cover a variety of topics. Wilhelmina Azu, OB/GYN, will provide an update on the HPV virus and vaccine; Jackie Candido, RN, BSN, MSN-C will discuss what to expect at your first GYN exam and an update on screening guidelines; Sumy Chang, MD, FACS, fellowship trained Breast Surgeon, will cover breast health for all ages; and, Stephen Erwin, PhD, will lead a discussion on developing healthy relationships with ourselves and others.
The program is free, but seating is limited and pre-registration is required by calling 732.557.3202.
The program is funded through a grant provided by the Santander Bank Foundation.
