February 2, 2015, Toms River, NJ - Community Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, will GLOW Red for Women during the month of February, a tradition in recognition of the American Heart Association's movement to save lives and raise awareness about women's heart disease. All hospitals within the Barnabas Health system will be lit red during the month.
In addition, Community Medical Center is sponsoring a variety of community programs to help individuals achieve a heart healthy lifestyle.
Annual Heart Health Fair– a HeartCaring Event
February 6, 8 am - 2 pm, Community Medical Center, Outpatient Lobby
Come and learn about the latest advances in cardiac care available right in your own neighborhood. You will have the opportunity to meet physicians and clinical staff who will be available throughout the day. Screenings, heart health information and more. Registration is not required.
Day of Dance – a Spirit of Women and HeartCaring Event
February 7, 10 am to 2 pm, Ocean County Mall, 1201 Hooper Avenue, Toms River
Join Community Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, and local dance groups who will perform throughout the day. Learn how to achieve and maintain a heart healthy lifestyle. Bring your dancing shoes! Registration is not required.

Learn about your risk for cardiac disease and participate in a Blood Pressure and Body Mass Index screenings. Meet with our clinicians who will help you understand how you can live heart healthy. Registration is not required.
5th Annual Get Your Red On– a Spirit of Women and HeartCaring Event
February 25, 5:30 – 8 pm, Clarion Hotel, 815 Route 37, Toms River
Get Your Red On is a special evening for women about creating a heart healthier life. Join our physician expert for a discussion on heart health for women and have the opportunity to ask questions on how to live heart healthy. We believe laughter is a powerful stress reducer which is very beneficial to good heart health. To celebrate our 5th Annual event, a comedian will join us. Registration is required.
