Free Event - Community Medical Center to Host Update on Cancer Screenings

TOMS RIVER, NJ, October 16, 2015 - Whether the person diagnosed is a loved one, a colleague, or you, cancer touches the lives of everyone. More than one million people in the US are diagnosed with cancer every year. The good news is that survival rates improve dramatically with early detection, and one of the best methods for this is cancer screenings.

Join us Wednesday, November 4, for Reduce Your Cancer Risk – an update on cancer screenings, an evening dedicated to you and your health at the Clarion Hotel in Toms River, sponsored by the Lung Cancer Program at the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center.

Four board-certified physician experts will help you understand what screenings are available and when to get them. James McCaughan, MD will share information on updates to lung cancer screenings. Teresa Tacopina, MD will provide the latest news regarding colorectal cancer screenings. Michael Nazmy, MD, will inform you about the important prostate cancer screening information you need to know. Jorge Pardes, MD, will share updates on breast cancer screenings.

Dinner and door prizes will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Please call 1-888-724-7123 to secure you seat at this event.
