A Special Program for Mothers and their Adolescent Daughters


TOMS RIVER, NJ, April 8, 2016 – Community Medical Center will sponsor a special program, A Time for Us, for mothers and their adolescent daughters to come together and learn about important health topics in a relaxed and non-threatening environment.

This free program will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 6 to 8 pm at the Clarion Hotel, Route 37 in Toms River, NJ. Participants will benefit from informative discussions with medical professionals and enjoy dinner, a photo booth and prizes.

Speakers at the event include a physician and other health professionals who will cover a variety of topics. Wilhelmina Azu, DO, obstetrician/gynecologist, will provide an update on the HPV virus and vaccine, Katie Connelly, CNM, certified nurse midwife, will discuss what to expect at your first GYN exam and an update on screening guidelines and Kathe Sadler-Wright, MSN, RN-C, will cover breast health for all ages.

The program is free, but seating is limited and pre-registration is required by calling 732.557.3202.
