New Chief Operating Officer joins Jersey City Medical Center leadership team


Michael Prilutsky Michael Prilutsky has been selected to serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Jersey City Medical Center, RWJBarnabas Health. He will be reporting directly to Joseph Scott, FACHE who will continue to serve as the Hospital’s President and Chief Executive Officer. In this new role the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for all of the day to day operations of the Medical Center.

This new position was created as the Jersey City Medical Center has experienced several years of growth in patient volume and has attracted numerous new physicians. Recently the Medical Center has added several new service lines, outpatient and wellness services. The hospital is currently in groundwork of kicking off a capital campaign to meet the medical needs of the growing Hudson County community.

Michael holds a vast array of outstanding leadership experiences. Most recently he served as Vice President and Executive Project Director at Montefiore Health System in New York City. Previously, he held leadership positions at Northwell Health, and prior to this, at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. At Columbia University he completed the High Impact Executive Leadership Program and holds a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration. He also completed an Administrative Fellowship Program through ACHE.
