The Charles Lafitte Foundation, a local non-profit dedicated to building hope and raising awareness for community programs that help children, and 16-year-old Kyra Citron recently helped brighten the holiday season for patients at The Unterberg Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center.
With her mother Suzanne, a representative of Monmouth Medical Center Foundation's leadership team, Kyra visited the hospital dressed as Mrs. Claus to distribute gifts to children being cared for at The Unterberg Children's Hospital this holiday season.
"There are so many amazing organizations and programs, like the Unterberg Children's Hospital, that help children live a better, healthier life every day," said Kyra, who marked her fourth annual holiday toy donation December 22. "But sometimes, these organizations need help in order to help others."
