If you’re feeling stressed due to life’s busy demands, you’re
not alone. Running late for work, looming deadlines and simply “not
having enough hours in the day” may lead to added stress, on top
of a cancer diagnosis. To help learn the triggers and techniques to help
make your holidays as stress-free as possible, Cancer Support Community
will present “The Rewards of Getting Rid of Stress” on Wednesday,
November 4 at 6 p.m. at the Maysie Strook Pavilion in Long Branch.
For most people, the holidays are a happy, festive time of year, but they
can also be very stressful. With the holidays fast approaching, this workshop
will help attendees learn techniques to have improved quality of live,
lower blood pressure and an increased ability to fight cancer during this
particularly stressful time of year.
The Rewards of Getting Rid of Stress will be held at the Monmouth Medical
Center’s Maysie Strook Pavilion located at 300 Second Avenue in
Long Branch. Registration is recommended. For more information or to register
for the workshop, please call 732-923-6090.
