Donating blood is a simple, selfless gift of life that helps ensure a sustained
and secure blood supply for all people. While most people expect blood
to be available if they should ever need it, only a fraction of those
who can give blood really do.
Central Jersey Blood Center will hold a blood drive Wednesday, December
2, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue,
Long Branch. All donors will receive a Dunkin Donuts gift card.
Blood is always needed and it is important for those who can donate to
do so. Donated blood is distributed to hospitals to help patients who
have experienced a disaster, an accident, trauma, surgery or diseases
such as cancer.
For more information or to donate blood, please call Monmouth Medical Center
at (732) 923-7352.
