Monmouth Medical Center Presents “Art is Good”


A Free Art Workshop for Families Impacted by Brain Tumors

The David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at Monmouth Medical Center is offering Art is Good, a free healing arts workshop for families whose lives have been impacted by the diagnosis of a brain tumor on Sunday, January 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. at SurfTaco, located at 1003 Main Street in Belmar.

The Art is Good Creative Workshop gives families the opportunity to socialize with others who are in the same situation and serve as a forum for expression through creativity, friendship and just being. Appointments with a social worker are available upon request.

The David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at the Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth Medical Center provides a full spectrum of comprehensive services to treat benign and malignant tumors originating in the brain and spinal cord, as well as neurological complications of cancer that has spread to other regions of the body.
