Long Branch, N.J. - Monmouth Medical Center, a RWJBarnabas Health facility, has named Mohsen
Sayed Rehim, M.D. as Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry.
At Monmouth Medical Center, Dr. Rehim will lead the hospital’s Behavioral
Health Services, which includes comprehensive mental health programs for
children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders.
All programs are led by a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals
who have advanced training and certification in all facets of behavioral health.
Dr. Rehim joins Monmouth Medical Center from Centra State Medical Center,
Freehold, where he served as assistant chairman of the Department of Psychiatry
and developed Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) services.
Dr. Rehim, of Colts Neck, earned his medical degree at Ain Shams University
in Cairo, Egypt, and completed his residency training at the University
of Arizona, Health Sciences Center, Department of Psychiatry in Tucson.
He also holds board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology, with added certification in geriatric psychiatry.
