LONG BRANCH, N.J. – RWJBarnabas Health was a presenting sponsor of the 21st annual
New Jersey Marathon, which drew thousands of spectators and participants
to the Jersey Shore on April 30.
More than 9,000 participants took off in waves from Monmouth Park in Oceanport,
where Monmouth Medical Center hosted a booth at the Health and Fitness
Expo on April 28 and 29, for the full and half marathons, running through
eight Jersey shore towns before finishing at the beachfront in Long Branch.
On April 29, Monmouth Medical Center also hosted a tent at the RWJBarnabas
Health kids and family festival. The Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon
& Half Marathon and
RWJ Barnabas Health created this special morning full of fun family events for all ages and
abilities held on the Great Lawn at the Ocean Promenade in Long Branch
