Long Branch, NJ, September 19, 2017 – The Russian Medical Program at Monmouth Medical Center will host a Joint
and Spine Pain Seminar on Tuesday, October 10 to showcase physician experts
who will discuss the latest treatment options for back, knee and hip pain.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel at 700 Hope Road in Tinton
Falls, the free event will feature a panel of Monmouth Medical Center
experts from Monmouth Medical Center’s Joint and Spine Center including
joint replacement surgeon Arthur Mark, M.D., pain management specialist
Charles Daknis, M.D., and spine surgeon Praveen Yalamanchili, M.D. Russian
interpretation will be provided.
There are about 70,000 Russian/Ukrainian speaking population residing in
Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean counties. Based on the need, assessment
and request through the community, the Russian Medical Program (RMP) at
Monmouth Medical Center has served more than 3,000 patients in these communities
since the program’s inception in 2014. It is the only program of
its kind in New Jersey that provides patient-centered, family-oriented
and culturally sensitive health care services.
The program, which includes a complimentary light dinner and beverages,
giveaways and door prizes, is free, but space is limited. Registration
