The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center Explores the Benefits of Going Green at “Message in a Bottle”


Long Branch, N.J. – Help get 2017 off to an eco-friendly start with WEforum’s “WE Go Green” Message in a Bottle, a free program offered by The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center.

WEforum, an organization led by women whose mission is to strengthen the health and wellness of communities within New Jersey, has joined with the Cancer Support Community to educate members about the environmental and individual health benefits of “going green.” Participants in this free informative workshop will learn about the health risks associated with using plastic bottles, and the benefits of re-usable bottles. Each participant will receive a free 26 oz., double-walled stainless steel insulated bottle.

“WE Go Green” Message in a Bottle will take place on Thursday, January 26 from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. in Suite ST-007 of the Maysie-Stroock Pavilion at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch. All are welcome, but registration is required by calling the Cancer Support Community at 732-923-6090.
