Mini Health Fair

The Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center is holding a mini health fair featuring free COPD, bone density, glucose, blood pressure, BMI and prescription screenings for seniors, as well as free refreshments and giveaways. Bone Density Screenings
Thursday, September 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
No bones about it – bone health is an important part of overall health. Join health coaches from the Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center to receive your free bone density screenings and learn more about your bone health. Refreshments will be served. These screenings are open to the public ages 60 and over and will be offered at the County Connection in Ocean County Mall, located at 1201 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
Healthy Aging Interactive Summit
Tuesday, September 24 from 9 a.m. to noon
The Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center will host a free Healthy Aging Interactive Summit to educate seniors about the various health and wellness opportunities available to them. Hospital clinicians will provide a health screenings, including cholesterol and glucose readings, balance screenings and blood pressure monitoring. Board-certified geriatricians will cover topics such as how to recognize signs of an emergency, healthy aging, intimacy after 60 and more while guests enjoy buffet-style food. Kimball will share its plans to open a Geriatric Emergency Department later this year in collaboration with Monmouth Medical Center. The summit will take place at Crystal Point Yacht Club, located at 3900 River Road in Point Pleasant. Seating is limited. Please register by calling 1-888-724-7123.
