LAKEWOOD, N.J. – On Tuesday, January 8, 2013, Monmouth and Kimball Medical Center officials dedicated the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center at Kimball Medical Center, providing Ocean County residents with convenient access to the renowned Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center.

“As a part of Barnabas Health, it is the vision of Monmouth Medical Center to be a leader in designing unparalleled new ways for delivering health care. By partnering with our sister hospital Kimball Medical Center to introduce this newest Wilentz satellite location, we are realizing our vision,” said Frank J. Vozos, MD, FACS, President and Chief Executive Officer at Monmouth Medical Center.

The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center was introduced by Monmouth Medical Center in 1994 to bring together under one roof all preventive, diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitative, psychosocial and educational services for women concerned about their breast health. The Center was modeled after the nation's most highly regarded breast centers and is equipped with the most technologically advanced systems.

“The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center reputation is both strong and renowned. As we embark on a new year, we are reaffirming our commitment to bring the most advanced programs and services to our community. This Breast Center and our collaboration with Monmouth Medical Center is a perfect example of that,” said Michael Mimoso, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Kimball Medical Center.

The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center at Kimball Medical Center, located at 500 River Avenue, Suite 200, offers screening mammography, the breast cancer high risk program and DEXA bone density testing. Additional satellite facilities include the Wilentz Breast Center in Howell, which provides mammography services, as well as the location in Colts Neck offering mammography and laboratory services. All imaging exams are interpreted by the Center’s dedicated breast imagers.
