Join The Center for Healthy Aging and the Department of Audiology at Kimball Medical Center, a Barnabas Health Facility, as they team-up to present "Now Hear This" – a lunch and learn designed to teach participants about hearing health. Dr. Sue Ellen Boyer, AuD., a clinical audiologist at Kimball Medical Center, will discuss age-related hearing loss and share facts about hearing aids. Enjoy lunch while Dr. Boyer explores the common signs of hearing loss and the steps to take to prevent it. A Hearing Health Quick Test will also be offered free of charge.
Bone Density Screenings

No bones about it – bone health is an important part of overall health. Join health coaches from the center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center to receive your free bone density screenings and learn more about your bone health. These free screenings will be offered at The County Connection at the Ocean County Mall located on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, N.J.
Thursdays, February 6 through March 24 from 2 to 3 p.m.
The Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center is proud to announce the return of instructor Kit Lau, who has been teaching Tai Chi for more than 10 years and will instruct participants on the fine art of Tai Chi moves from both standing and sitting positions. This class is offered to all seniors despite medical conditions. Cost is $5 for one class or $40 for eight sessions, all held at the Center for Healthy Living, located at 198 Prospect Street in Lakewood.
