If you're interested in feeling stronger and healthier, this is the program for you! The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus presents Exercise for Strength on Mondays, September 14 and 28 at 2:30 p.m. located at the Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus' Center for Healthy Living in Lakewood.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Preventions, the health benefits from regular physical activity far outweigh the risk of injury and sudden heart attack – two concerns that prevent many people from adding physical activity to their lives. Exercise for Strength, open to all who have been affected by cancer, is an interactive work-out group designed not only to improve energy, but to increase endurance and flexibility as well. Due to physical components of the program, sneakers are required.
This program will be held at the Center for Healthy Living, located at 198 Prospect Street in Lakewood. For more information, please call 732-923-6090.
