Joseph J. Russell, Jr., Esq. and Adam D. Pfeffer, Esq. have been named to the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees.
Joseph J. Russell, Jr., Esq. is partner and co-chair of the matrimonial law department at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. Before joining the full-service family law practice in 2013, Russell worked as an associate attorney at Donahue, Hagan, Klein, Newsome & O’Donnell and as law clerk for Robert A. Fall in the New Jersey Appellate Division.
Active in Ocean County and the surrounding community, Russell is involved with the Lifetime Assistance for Developmental and Challenging Individual Needs (LADACIN) Network (formerly the Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties), where he serves as a Rosebud committee member and New Jersey Marathon committee member. As part of his work with the organization, Russell founded and organized the annual Polar Bear Plunge event that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for infant, children and adult members of LADACIN Network. In 2010, LADACIN Network honored Russell as Humanitarian of the Year.
Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa. and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J.
Since 2005, Adam D. Pfeffer, Esq. has represented Levin, Shea & Pfeffer in Jackson, N.J., focusing on residential and commercial real estate transactions including the representation of real estate developers, investors, brokers, purchasers, sellers and contractors.
In addition to joining the Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation Board of Trustees, Pfeffer is a member of the Board of Directors at Harmony Bank. Additionally, he was awarded the Community Service Award from Bonei Olam and the Young Leadership Award from the Tikva Children’s Home.
Pfeffer earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the Boston University School of Management. He earned his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School in Huntington, N.Y. and his MBA from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville, N.Y.
