Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation’s Flavors of the Jersey Shore Food and Wine Tasting Raises Funds for Cancer Services

More than 400 guests recently attended Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation’s 3rd Annual Flavors of the Jersey Shore Food and Wine Tasting at Pine Belt Chevrolet of Lakewood. Proceeds from the event, held in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will support cancer services at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus.

The event was co-chaired by Mary Clarke, of HealthSouth of Toms River, and Rob Sickel, of Pine Belt Enterprises. The VIP Preview Food Salon Experience was hosted by Celebrity Chef Joe Leone, whose Point Pleasant-based Italian Specialty Store & Catering business has become the premier Italian culinary experience in the area, along with VIP sponsors: Falco’s Catering, NJ’s Best DJ’s and Opici Wine.

“Thanks to the tremendous support of our sponsors and guests, this was our most successful Wine and Food Tasting to date,” said Denice Gaffney, Vice President, Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Foundation. “Everyone had a fun time sampling delicious cuisine and enjoying a variety of wine – all for a good cause.”
