The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus Presents a New Support Group for Children

The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus is now offering Circle of Caring, a new drop-in support group for children affected by cancer.

For this professionally run support group, kids are invited to stop in any time during the 2-hour program and have the opportunity to share their experiences in the compassionate environment provided by the Cancer Support Community. Children will also get to participate in art, music and play activities.

The Circle of Caring support group will take place on Friday, February 10 and 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Cancer Support Community, located at 199 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Registration is required by calling the Cancer Support Community at 732-923-6090.

The Cancer Support Community (CSC) offers supportive programs, education, and hope for individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis, no matter where treatment is received. Monthly programs include relaxation and guided imagery, yoga, mindfulness meditation, exercise for strength, support groups and much more.
