2015 Women’s Health Day with The Beth Focuses on EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT


150 Women Expected to Participate in Annual Wellness Conference

Newark, NJ- May 4, 2015 – NEWARK, NJ —Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) will host its third Women's Health Day with The Beth on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Newark Airport Marriott, 1 Hotel Road, Newark, New Jersey. Registration is required (ages 21 and over) at 973-926-4255. The one-day conference will feature health and wellness education, breakout sessions with physicians, lunch and an afternoon of pampering activities and vendor tables.

Attendees will also be able to pre-register for a free vascular screening at the Vascular Center's new location on E3 at NBIMC. Nurses will be at the event and will accept registrations for the annual Breast Cancer Screening event, which will feature the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey Breast Health Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, opening in the fall of 2015.

Women's Health Day With The Beth includes morning health discussions and breakout sessions on Breast Health, Oncology Disease Management, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Robotic Surgery for Gynecological Issues, Women's Cardiac Issues; Management of Fibroids and Mental Health. The afternoon will include wellness activities including massage, reiki, stress management and meditation.
